Pharmacological Repackaging

The pharmacy repackaging center was established to promote safety and efficiencies through unit dosing and bar-coding of pharmaceuticals. Pharmaceutical products are purchased in bulk containers and repackaged into unit dose form with a readable bar code imprinted. Purchasing in bulk containers is often less costly than purchasing products in unit dose form.
